Is the HOMCOM 32" electric fireplace worth it?

It is a reasonable buy if you want a small, ventless fireplace with a mantel for ambiance and light heating. At $184.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it costs less than most mantel fireplaces of this size.

Does the flame work without heat?

Yes. The 3D LED log flame runs independently of the 1400W heater, so you can use it for ambiance in summer without warming the room.

How much space does it heat?

HOMCOM rates it for rooms up to 323 sq ft. That covers a bedroom, den or small living room, but it will not carry a large open-plan space on its own.

What are the dimensions?

The unit is 31.75" W x 8.75" D x 29.75" H, with an 18" W x 5" D x 17.25" H insert and an 18" x 17.25" glass window. Check the 8.75" depth against your wall and outlet placement.

What comes in the box?

The listing names the remote control as the included accessory. Assembly hardware and legs are not listed, so confirm with the store if you need those.

Electric fireplaces like this usually drop during fall heating-season sales and post-holiday clearance. Compare the $184.99 Walmart price against the other stores before buying.
