Are velvet hangers worth it over plastic?

Yes for light clothing. The velvet grip stops silky tops and dresses from sliding off, and the slim body fits more items on the rod. For heavy coats, a sturdier hanger is a better choice.

Will these hangers hold a winter coat?

Probably not well. Velvet hangers are built for shirts, blouses, dresses and light jackets. Heavy wool coats and denim can bend the frame or stretch the shoulders.

Do the hangers need assembly?

No. They arrive ready to hang, and the listing states no assembly is required.

How wide are they, and will they fit my closet?

Each hanger is 17 inches wide, a standard adult size. Check your deepest garment's shoulder width if you plan to hang structured jackets.

What does the warranty cover?

Home It lists 30 days for parts and 30 days for labor. Keep your order confirmation in case a hanger arrives broken.

When is the best time to buy?

Prices on hanger multipacks tend to dip during back-to-school and January organization sales. Compare the stores above and buy when the price sits near the low end of its recent range.
