Are velvet hangers worth it over plastic ones?

For shirts and light knits, yes. The flocking stops slipping and the slim shape fits noticeably more clothes on the same rod. For coats and heavy jackets, stick with sturdier hangers.

Will the velvet rub off on my clothes?

Fresh flocked hangers can shed slightly at first. Shake them out before use, and avoid hanging damp clothing, which softens the coating.

Can these hold jeans or coats?

Lightly. The thin frame is built for shirts and blouses, and heavy denim or wool coats can bend it or stretch the shoulders.

What is in the 30-pack?

Thirty velvet hangers in a single retail set. No assembly is required; they are ready to hang.

When is the best time to buy?

Storage and closet organizers often drop during back-to-school and January organization sales. Compare the live price across stores before buying.

Our take on the Universe Premium Velvet Shirt Hangers 30 Pack

Universe Premium Velvet Shirt Hangers are a 30-pack of slim, flocked hangers meant to replace bulky plastic or wood hangers in a closet. The velvet coating grips fabric so shirts and light knits stay put, and the flat profile frees up hanging space. They come as a set with no assembly.
