Our take on the homfan 12V Electric Ride On Car with Parent Remote Control and LED Lights

The homfan 12V Electric Ride On Car is a battery-powered kids' car with a parent remote control and LED lights. The 12V system is the higher-voltage class for this kind of toy, so it moves faster than 6V cars and handles small slopes better. Its best new price is $224.40 at Macy's as of November 7, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is a 12V ride-on car too fast for a 3-year-old?
A 12V car is quicker than a 6V one, so a 3-year-old should use it with the parent remote in control. Many families start kids on the remote and hand over the wheel around age 4 or 5.
How long does the battery last per charge?
The listing does not state runtime. As a guide, 12V kids' cars of this size typically run 45 to 90 minutes on a full charge, depending on load and surface.
What does the parent remote control do?
It lets an adult steer, stop and usually set speed while the child sits in the car. It is the main reason to pick this over a car without a remote.
Is $224.40 a good price for this car?
It is the only new price we have, $224.40 at Macy's as of November 7, 2026, so there is no lower store price to compare. Comparable 12V cars with a remote often sell between $200 and $300.
What age and weight is it meant for?
The listing gives no age or weight limit. Most 12V cars in this class are rated for about 3 to 6 years and up to roughly 66 lb (30 kg); check the box before buying.
Does it come with the battery and charger?
Ride-on cars in this class normally ship with the rechargeable battery and charger included. The listing does not confirm the contents, so verify before ordering.
Where is the homfan 12V Electric Ride On Car with Parent Remote Control and LED Lights cheapest?
At Macy's, for $224.40, 80% off, as of our latest check.
