Is this camera worth $325?

If you want a plug-and-play genuine part with warranty coverage, yes. A used or aftermarket LaneWatch camera can cost far less, but fit and image alignment vary, and you may still pay a dealer to recalibrate it.

Will it fit my Insight?

It fits 2019-2020 Honda Insight EX and Touring sedans only. The LX trim does not have LaneWatch, and other Honda models use different part numbers.

Do I need a dealer to install it?

A careful DIYer can swap the camera by removing the mirror glass and housing. The camera view may need recalibration with a Honda scan tool, which usually means a dealer visit.

The camera assembly itself. Wiring, mirror glass and housing are not included unless your existing parts are reused.

Genuine parts like this rarely go on deep discount. Online Honda parts dealers usually undercut walk-in dealer counter prices, so compare a few before buying.

Our take on the Honda Camera

This is the genuine Honda LaneWatch camera assembly for the passenger-side mirror on 2019-2020 Honda Insight EX and Touring sedans. It feeds the dashboard screen a live view of the right lane when you signal right, replacing the mirror-mounted camera if it fails or is damaged. The part is new, not refurbished, and carries Honda's parts warranty. At $325.04 from Honda Parts Now as of the listing date, it sits at the top of the typical range for a genuine dealer part; aftermarket and used units often run well under $150.
