Is the Hoover Spotless Mini worth it?

It is worth it if you want a small, portable machine for spills, pet accidents and upholstery. If you need to clean whole rooms of carpet regularly, a full-size extractor is a better fit.

How does it compare with a full-size carpet cleaner?

It is lighter and easier to store, but has a smaller tank and less suction. Use it for spots and stairs; use a full-size machine for wall-to-wall carpet.

What comes in the box?

The Spotless Mini, a trial bottle of Hoover cleaning solution and the standard cleaning tool. Extra brushes and attachments are sold separately.

Can I use it on couches and car seats?

Yes. The hose and tool are made for upholstery, stairs and car interiors. Test on a hidden area first, since some fabrics are water-sensitive.

How long is the cord?

It is a corded unit, so plan on an outlet nearby. For stairs and cars, an extension cord helps.

Spot cleaners like this tend to drop during holiday sales and back-to-school events. Check the price history chart for the current low.
