Is the Alma table solid oak?

No. The top is oak veneer over MDF, and the legs are wood. It looks like oak but is lighter and cheaper than solid wood.

How big is it compared with a standard coffee table?

At 47.25 inches wide it is on the larger side; most coffee tables run 36 to 48 inches. Measure your sofa and leave 14 to 18 inches of walkway.

It is the lowest new price among the four stores that carry it as of November 7, 2026. That is modest for a table this size with an oak veneer top.

Expect to attach the legs yourself. Assembly is simple but takes two people to flip the table safely.

The oval shape works with sectionals if you leave clearance on the open side. Check the 47.25-inch width against your seating run first.
