Built for players pushing the boundaries of modern guitar design, the Ibanez QX527B redefines what a high-performance instrument can be. Part of Ibanez’s innovative Q (Quest) series, this headless 7-string is engineered for precision, comfort, and tonal versatility. Its compact, ergonomic design makes it ideal for extended playing sessions, while its futuristic aesthetic reflects the forward-thinking approach behind its construction.
At the core of the QX527B is the ultra-consistent Parallel Wizard neck, designed with a uniform thickness for a fast, fluid feel across the entire fretboard. The roasted maple and bubinga construction ensures long-term stability, while the ebony fingerboard and stainless steel frets provide exceptional articulation and durability. The lightweight okoume body keeps things resonant and balanced, making it a great choice for technical players who demand clarity and responsiveness across all seven strings.
Tonally, the Q58 pickups and dyna-MIX10 switching system offer a wide palette of sounds — from tight, aggressive humbucker tones to convincing single-coil textures — all with minimal noise. Combined with the Mono-Tune bridge system and headless design, this guitar delivers rock-solid tuning stability and effortless adjustability. Finished in Weathered Black and paired with a purpose-built gig bag, this cutting-edge instrument is available right now at Haggerty’s Music.
