About the same. Run 230-270°C nozzle and 60-70°C bed, dry the spool first, and keep retraction tuned to limit stringing. Matte additives can be slightly more abrasive, so a hardened nozzle helps.

Does the filament need drying out of the box?

IEMAI recommends 140°F for 5-8 hours. PETG absorbs moisture, and wet filament causes popping, stringing and weak layers, so dry it if you see or hear those signs.
