Is the Ikarao Shell S2 worth it?

It is a strong pick if you want mics, a lyric screen and a battery in one box. The 4.9 rating from 223 buyers backs that up. If you mainly sing at home near a TV, a cheaper wired system may do.

How does it compare with the original Shell?

The S2 adds an 8-inch touchscreen, self-charging mic slots and the KaraFun subscription. It is the more complete party unit; the first Shell is simpler and usually cheaper.

How long does the battery last?

Ikarao rates it at 8 hours of playtime. Expect less at full volume with lights on. The mics recharge in their top slots.

Does it work with a TV?

Yes, over HDMI, but video only, and the cable is not included. You still need Wi-Fi for streaming apps.

What comes in the box?

Two self-charging wireless microphones and a braided charging cord. There is no HDMI cable, carry strap or bag, even though the paperwork mentions a strap.

Can I use it outdoors?

It is portable and battery-powered, but it has no IP rating, so keep it out of rain and direct splashes.
