Is the LAGKAPTEN / ADILS desk worth it?

At $79.99 it is one of the cheapest full-size desks you can buy new. It is worth it for light study or laptop work, but not if you need to load it heavily or want a scratch-proof top.

How much weight can it hold?

IKEA rates it at 110 lb evenly distributed. That covers a laptop, monitor, lamp and books, but not a heavy desktop tower plus multiple monitors.

How tall is the desk and can I adjust it?

It stands 28 3/4 inches tall, a fixed height. The ADILS legs have adjustable feet for leveling on uneven floors, but that is not the same as changing desk height.

How big is the desktop?

The top measures 55 1/8 inches long and 23 5/8 inches deep, roughly 4.6 feet by 2 feet. It fits one monitor and a laptop with room to spare in a small room.

One LAGKAPTEN tabletop, 55 1/8 x 23 5/8 inches, and four ADILS legs. Tools and assembly hardware for the pre-drilled leg holes are included; a drawer is not part of this set.

IKEA flat-pack desks rarely get deep discounts, so $79.99 is close to the floor. Watch for IKEA family offers and store clearance rather than expecting big seasonal drops.
