Is the 8-quart Duo too big for two people?

It works, but it is sized for up to eight people. Smaller batches cook fine, though the pot takes more counter space than the 3- or 6-quart models.

What is the difference between the Duo and the Duo Plus?

The Duo has 13 smart programs and a standard LED display. The Duo Plus adds a sous-vide program, a sterilize program and a more detailed display.

Can I sauté in it before pressure cooking?

Yes. The stainless-steel inner pot has a tri-ply bottom for sautéing, so you can brown meat or soften onions, then add liquid and lock the lid.

What comes in the box?

The cooker, a stainless-steel steamer rack and the lid. Recipes are in the free Instant Brands Connect app for iOS and Android.

Is the inner pot dishwasher-safe?

Yes. The lid, inner pot and accessories are dishwasher-safe, and the stainless-steel sides resist fingerprints.
