Is $728.99 a good price for the Intex PureSpa Plus?

Yes. At $728.99 at Best Buy as of November 8, 2026, it is near the bottom of its recent price range. Inflatable hot tubs usually cost less in fall and winter than in late spring.

How long does it take to heat up?

Expect roughly a day or more to reach 104°F from cold tap water, depending on outdoor temperature. A fitted cover and a insulated mat speed this up.

Does it need a special electrical outlet?

No. It runs on a standard 110-120V household outlet, but the pump draws significant current, so avoid sharing the circuit with other heavy appliances.

Intex rates it for 4 adults. The square 83-inch layout gives each person reasonable legroom, but it is cozy with four full-size adults.

What comes in the box?

The tub, inflatable cover, filter cartridge pump, ground cloth, chemical starter kit and carry bag are typically included. Check the listing for the exact bundle.

Can it stay up all winter?

It can run through mild winters, but in freezing climates many owners drain and store it. The inflatable walls and pump are not built for hard freezes.
