Does the Ionic Pro Compact need replacement filters?

No. It uses three permanent collection blades that you wash, and an indicator light tells you when cleaning is due.

How large a room will it handle?

It is rated for rooms up to 250 square feet, or 500 square feet with the air cycled three times an hour.

It has no fan, so there is no fan noise; the rated level is about 10 dB. Some owners still mention a faint blue glow rather than sound.

Does it remove dust and allergens like a HEPA purifier?

It captures particles down to about 1 micron with ions and charged blades, but it has no HEPA filter, so fine dust removal is weaker than a true HEPA unit.

Ionizers can produce trace ozone. People with asthma or sensitive lungs should check with a doctor, and a HEPA unit is the safer pick for them.

When is the best time to buy it?

It has one new price, $169.96 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026, so there is no competing store price to wait on; watch for seasonal sales.

Where is the Ionic Pro Compact Ionic Air Purifier cheapest?

At Walmart, for $169.96, as of our latest check.
