- Filter costPraisedThe permanent washable filter is seen as a money saver versus yearly HEPA replacements.
- NoiseMixedLow speed is quiet, but high and turbo are loud enough to notice in a bedroom.
Questions and answers
- Does the Ionic Pro Turbo remove dust and pollen?
- It claims 99.9 percent removal of airborne pollutants through ionic filtration, but it has no HEPA filter, so fine particles are charged and collected rather than trapped. Expect less than a HEPA purifier on smoke and allergens.
- Is it safe around asthma or pets?
- It generates ozone, so it is not ozone-free. People with asthma, COPD, or young children may want an ozone-free HEPA unit instead.
- How often do I replace the filter?
- The main filter is permanent and washable. The Oxygen Plus filter is the only part that needs periodic replacement, and there is no indicator telling you when.
- Can I set it to run for a few hours?
- No. It has no timer and no automatic shutoff, so you switch it on and off by hand.
- How loud is it?
- It is rated 65 dB, which is loud at high and turbo. Low speed is much quieter for a bedroom or office.
- Is $134.99 a good price?
- At $134.99 at eBay as of November 6, 2026, it is near the bottom of its recent range, with only two stores listing it new. That is a fair price for this model.
