Is the 2025 iPad worth it over the previous model?

If you already own a recent entry iPad, the jump is small: a slightly larger screen and the A16 chip. For first-time buyers or anyone on an older tablet, it is the sensible budget pick.

Does the 2025 iPad support Apple Intelligence?

No. Apple Intelligence features require newer chips, so this model does not get them.

How much storage should I get?

128GB suits apps, photos and streaming. Choose 256GB if you download movies, games or lots of photos, since there is no memory card slot.

Does it work with the Apple Pencil and keyboard?

It supports the USB-C Apple Pencil and the entry-level keyboard cases sold separately. Check the accessory's compatibility list, since older Pencil models do not pair.

Is $399.99 a good price?

At $399.99 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it is near the low end of this model's recent range. With only two stores listing it new, compare both before buying.

Is the screen bright enough for outdoor use?

At 500 nits it is fine in shade but washes out in direct sun. For outdoor work, a brighter iPad Air or Pro is the better choice.
