Our take on the IRIS USA 4 Pack Jumbo Plastic Open Front Stackable Storage Bin

These are four clear plastic open-front bins from IRIS USA, sized 13 by 10 by 8 inches with a 0.6 cubic foot capacity each. The open front lets you pull items out without unstacking, and the flat tops let bins stack on each other. They hold up to 5 lbs each, so they suit light goods like snacks, craft supplies and small accessories rather than heavy tools. The 4-pack is the common listing; compare the per-bin price against single bins before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the 4-pack worth it over buying singles?
If you need several bins for one shelf or closet, the 4-pack is usually the cheaper way to buy them. Buy singles only if you need one or two and want to test the size first.
How much weight can each bin hold?
Each bin is rated for 5 lbs. That fits snacks, craft supplies and small accessories, but not books, tools or canned goods.
Can these bins stack on each other?
Yes. The flat tops are designed to stack with matching IRIS bins. Keep the bottom bin light, since each one is only rated for 5 lbs.
Do the bins come with lids?
No. These are open-front, lidless bins. If you need dust protection or stackable closed boxes, look at lidded storage instead.
What fits in a 13 by 10 by 8 inch bin?
Each bin holds 0.6 cubic feet. That is roughly a row of snack boxes, a stack of folded kids' clothes, or a pile of craft supplies.
When is the price lowest?
Storage bins tend to drop during back-to-school and January organization sales. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.
What do buyers say about the IRIS USA 4 Pack Jumbo Plastic Open Front Stackable Storage Bin?
Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 67 ratings.
