Our take on the ITOPFOX Hanging Planters 2 Pack with Drainage Holes and Chain, Black

The ITOPFOX Hanging Planters are a two-pack of black plastic hanging pots with drainage holes and chains, made for balconies, porches and indoor corners. The built-in drainage is the main draw: most hanging pots are sealed, so roots sit in water. The best new price is $56.65 at Lowe's as of November 5, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against.

Pros
  • Drainage holes let excess water out instead of pooling at the roots
  • Chain hangers included, so no separate hardware to buy
  • Plastic body is light, which keeps the load on hooks low
  • Two-pack gives a matched pair for a balcony or porch
  • Works indoors or outdoors
Cons
  • $56.65 for two plastic pots is high against similar hanging planters
  • Only one store lists it new, so there is no price competition
  • Plastic can fade and go brittle with long sun exposure
  • No saucer included, so water drips below the pot

Questions and answers

Is $56.65 a good price for these planters?
It is the only new price we have, $56.65 at Lowe's as of November 5, 2026, so there is no lower store price to compare it to. Judge it against what you would pay for two plastic hanging pots with chains elsewhere.
Do the pots have drainage holes?
Yes. Each pot has drainage holes, which is the feature that sets it apart from most sealed hanging planters. Water drains out the bottom, so put a saucer or tray underneath if the pot hangs over a floor or furniture.
Can I hang them outdoors?
Yes. ITOPFOX lists them for indoor and outdoor use, including balconies and porches. Plastic left in direct sun for seasons can fade and crack, so a covered spot lasts longer.
What is included in the 2-pack?
Two black plastic hanging planters, each with drainage holes and a chain for hanging. Hooks or ceiling mounts are not mentioned, so check what you will hang them from.
How much weight can the chain hold?
The listing does not give a load rating. Because the pots are plastic and light, the weight comes mostly from soil and water, so keep plants and pots modest and check your hook's rating.
Where is the ITOPFOX Hanging Planters 2 Pack with Drainage Holes and Chain, Black cheapest?
At Lowe's, for $56.65, as of our latest check.
