Our take on the Ivy Bronx 78.8" Boneless Convertible Loveseat Chaise Sleeper Sofa, 2-Piece Modular Couch

This is a two-piece modular sofa from Ivy Bronx that converts from a loveseat into a chaise or a flat sleeper, with a 78.8-inch footprint. It is a "boneless" design, meaning the back and arm cushions are loose and rearrangeable rather than fixed, so the shape changes with how you push the pieces together. It comes in gray, black, brown and beige fabric. No current price was provided, so check the latest store comparison before deciding.

Pros
  • Converts between loveseat, chaise and sleeper without extra pieces
  • Two modular sections are easier to move through doorways
  • Loose back cushions let you change the seat depth and look
  • Four neutral fabric colors fit most rooms
  • Compact 78.8-inch length suits tight spaces
Cons
  • Boneless design means cushions shift and need regular fluffing
  • No fixed arms, so side support is limited
  • Fabric upholstery stains more easily than leather
  • Sleeper comfort depends on a thin foam base, not a real mattress
  • Assembly and reconfiguring take two people

Questions and answers

Is it worth it compared with a standard sleeper sofa?
It makes sense if space is tight and you want one piece that works as a sofa, chaise and guest bed. A traditional sleeper sofa gives firmer support and a real mattress, but takes more room.
How comfortable is it to sleep on?
It lies flat, but the base is upholstered foam rather than a spring mattress. Most people find it fine for a night or two and add a topper for longer stays.
What is a boneless sofa?
The back and arm cushions are separate and not attached to a frame, so you can move them to change the seat depth or make the sofa flatter. The trade-off is that they slide and need fluffing.
Does it fit through a standard door?
It ships in two sections, which helps in hallways and stairwells. Measure your doorway and the 78.8-inch length against your room before ordering.
When is the price lowest?
Modular sofas from furniture brands usually drop during major holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
