Is the Joie Rue worth it?

At $149.88 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a base-included infant seat with airplane certification. The trade-off is a heavy base and no load leg or anti-rebound bar.

How long will my baby fit in it?

It fits from 4 lb up to 30 lb or 30 in, whichever comes first. Most babies outgrow it by height before weight, often around 12 to 18 months.

Can I use it on a plane?

Yes. It is airplane certified, so you can install it rear-facing in an aircraft seat using the lap belt.

Does it come with a base?

Yes, one stay-in-car base is included. Extra bases are sold separately if you switch between cars.

When is the price lowest?

Infant seat prices tend to dip during registry and baby-sale events. The current $149.88 at eBay is the best new price among the 4 stores listing it as of November 4, 2026.
