Questions and answers

Is the Joybird Hopson Grand Sofa worth it?
It suits buyers who need a very large sofa in a performance fabric and have the room for a 105-inch frame. With only 8 ratings, treat the 5-star average as early signal rather than proven long-term durability.
How big a room does it need?
At 105 inches wide and 37 inches deep, it needs a wall at least 9 feet long with clearance behind and in front. Measure doorways and hallways before ordering, since the long frame is hard to angle through tight spaces.
Is Sunbrella fabric good for a family sofa?
Yes. Sunbrella Premier Sea is a solution-dyed performance fabric that resists stains, fading and moisture, which suits kids and pets. It feels crisper than cotton or velvet, so expect a firmer hand.
Can people sleep on it?
The 97-inch seat and 24-inch depth let one adult sleep comfortably, and two in a pinch. It is a sofa, not a sleeper, so there is no fold-out mattress.
What is the seat height and leg height?
The seat sits 19 inches high and the legs are 7.5 inches, leaving room for a vacuum or robot cleaner underneath. The overall height is 33 inches.
When is the best time to buy a Joybird sofa?
Joybird runs frequent sales around holidays and long weekends, and prices on made-to-order sofas move with those promotions. Compare the current price against its recent range before ordering.
What do buyers say about the Joybird Hopson Grand Sofa?
Rated 5 out of 5 from 8 ratings.
