Our take on the Kloudic Dehumidifier for Home 37oz

The Kloudic Dehumidifier for Home is a small portable Peltier-style unit with a 37 oz (about 1.1 L) tank, rated for rooms up to 280 sq ft. It runs at under 35 dB and draws 40W, so it is quiet enough for a bedroom or closet and cheap to run. Auto shut-off stops it when the tank fills. It is a compact spot dehumidifier, not a whole-room compressor unit.

Questions and answers

Is the Kloudic dehumidifier worth it?
It is worth it for a small, mildly damp space like a closet, bathroom or RV where quiet operation matters. For a damp basement or a large room, a compressor dehumidifier will pull far more water.
How often do I need to empty the 37 oz tank?
That depends on humidity. In a humid bathroom it may fill within a day or two; in a drier closet it can last several days. Auto shut-off stops it when full.
How much water can it remove per day?
Kloudic does not state a daily extraction rate, and Peltier units of this size typically remove well under a pint a day in warm, humid air. Do not expect compressor-level performance.
What size room does it cover?
It is rated for up to 280 sq ft, but that figure suits mild dampness. Treat it as a spot unit for a bedroom, closet or bathroom rather than a whole-floor solution.
Does it have a drain hose for continuous use?
No drain hose is listed; it relies on the 37 oz tank and auto shut-off. For unattended long runs, a unit with a continuous drain is a better fit.
When is the price likely to be lowest?
Small dehumidifiers like this usually dip during off-season sales and spring promotions before humid months. Check the price history on this page before buying.
