Questions and answers

Is the Kloudic humidifier worth it?
At $44.99 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a humidistat and timer. If you need warm mist or a larger coverage area, look elsewhere.
How long does one tank last?
The 1.6-gallon tank runs roughly 50 hours on low output and closer to 20 hours on high. Actual run time depends on room size and the humidity setting.
Does it shut off automatically?
Yes. The humidistat stops misting once the room reaches your set humidity, and the timer can end a run on a schedule. It also stops when the tank is empty.
Can I use tap water?
Tap water works, but hard water causes white mineral dust on surfaces. Distilled water avoids that and reduces scale buildup in the tank.
How often should I clean it?
Clean the tank and base about once a week with a mild vinegar solution. Skip cleaning and you will get a slimy film and a musty smell.
What size room does it cover?
Plan on a medium bedroom or living room, roughly 300 to 500 square feet. Larger open spaces will need a second unit or a higher-output model.
Where is the Kloudic 1.6 Gallon Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier with Humidistat & Timer cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $44.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Kloudic 1.6 Gallon Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier with Humidistat & Timer?
