Our take on the Kluft Crown Latex Topaz Firm Full Mattress Set with 9" Box Spring

The Kluft Crown Latex Topaz is a firm all-latex mattress sold as a set with a 9-inch box spring. The 12.5-inch profile uses latex for a springy, supportive feel that resists body impressions better than foam. It comes in Twin XL through California King, with a Full measuring 75 by 53 inches. Kluft is a premium brand, so expect a high price and limited discounting.

Questions and answers

Is this mattress good for side sleepers?
Probably not. It is a firm all-latex bed, which tends to press on shoulders and hips for side sleepers. Back and stomach sleepers are a better fit.
Do I need the box spring?
The set includes a 9-inch box spring, so you do not need to buy a foundation. You can still use it on an adjustable base if you skip the box spring.
How does latex compare with memory foam?
Latex is bouncier, cooler and more durable, but it does not contour or sink the way memory foam does. Expect a firmer, more responsive surface.
What sizes are available?
Twin XL, Full, Queen, King and California King. All are 12.5 inches tall; the Full is 75 by 53 inches.
When is the best time to buy?
Kluft is rarely discounted deeply. Watch for holiday sales and compare prices across stores before buying.
What do buyers say about the Kluft Crown Latex Topaz Firm Full Mattress Set with 9" Box Spring?
