Our take on the KNODOS Espresso Accessories Kit with Calibrated Tamper, WDT Tool, Magnetic Dosing Funnel and Puck Screen

The KNODOS Espresso Accessories Kit bundles four tools that upgrade a home espresso workflow: a calibrated tamper, a WDT distribution tool, a magnetic dosing funnel and a puck screen. The tamper's calibration spring helps you press with consistent force, and the WDT needles break up clumps before tamping. It is sold in five basket sizes from 51mm to 58.5mm, so check your portafilter size before ordering. At $119 at Etsy as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Pros
  • Calibrated tamper clicks at a set pressure for repeatable tamps
  • WDT tool breaks up clumps and reduces channeling
  • Magnetic funnel stays put while you dose and transfer grounds
  • Puck screen keeps the shower screen cleaner and can improve water distribution
  • Five size options cover common 51mm to 58.5mm baskets
Cons
  • $119 is high for four small tools versus buying them separately
  • 3D-printed parts may feel less durable than machined metal
  • Only one new listing, so no price competition yet
  • Calibration spring force is fixed and not adjustable on most such tampers
  • Funnel and puck screen must match your exact basket diameter

Questions and answers

Is the KNODOS kit worth $119?
If you own none of these tools, the bundle saves you from matching sizes across four separate purchases. If you already have a good tamper, buying a WDT tool and puck screen separately will cost less.
Which size do I need for my machine?
Match the kit to your basket's inner diameter: 51mm for many Delonghi and Sage models, 54mm for Breville Barista machines, and 58mm for most E61 and Gaggia groups. Measure your basket if unsure, since a loose or tight fit hurts results.
Does the calibrated tamper really help?
Yes, for consistency. A spring-loaded tamper clicks at a set force so every tamp is the same, which removes one variable. It does not replace good grind and dose.
What is the puck screen for?
It sits on top of the coffee in the basket, keeping the shower screen clean and spreading water more evenly. Rinse it after each shot and backflush it occasionally.
When is the price likely to be lowest?
Espresso gear tends to discount around Black Friday and holiday gifting periods. With only one new listing at $119, watch for a second seller or a direct-from-brand sale.
What is in the box?
The kit includes the calibrated tamper, WDT tool, magnetic dosing funnel and puck screen in your chosen size. Confirm the size at checkout, since the funnel and screen are size-specific.
Where is the KNODOS Espresso Accessories Kit with Calibrated Tamper, WDT Tool, Magnetic Dosing Funnel and Puck Screen cheapest?
At Etsy, for $119.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the KNODOS Espresso Accessories Kit with Calibrated Tamper, WDT Tool, Magnetic Dosing Funnel and Puck Screen?
