Is the Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 worth it?

Yes if you want a cheap camera you can take in the water and hand to a kid without worry. It is not the pick for low-light or serious image quality; a phone beats it indoors.

How deep can the WPZ2 go underwater?

Kodak rates the WPZ2 for shallow water use such as pools, snorkeling and the beach, not diving. Rinse it in fresh water and dry the seals after saltwater use.

Does the WPZ2 need a memory card?

Yes. It takes microSD or microSDHC cards up to 32GB and has no built-in storage worth relying on, so buy a card with the camera.

Can I transfer photos from the WPZ2 to my phone?

Yes. Built-in Wi-Fi connects to the Kodak app on iOS and Android for copying and sharing shots.

Is the WPZ2 good for video?

It records 1080p at about 30fps, which is fine for clips of kids and snorkeling. Stabilization is digital only, so expect some shake when moving.

When is the WPZ2 cheapest?

It is a budget model, so discounts are modest. Watch for holiday sales and bundle deals with a card or case rather than expecting deep cuts.

Where is the Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 cheapest?
