Is the Kohler Avec tub deep enough for a full soak?

Yes. The bathing depth is about 14 inches, and the slotted overflow lets water sit higher than a standard overflow would allow.

Does it come with a drain?

Yes. A color-matched toe-tap drain is preinstalled, along with the integral overflow.

What are the rough-in dimensions?

The tub measures 72 inches long, 36 inches wide and 18-1/8 inches high. Plan for a drop-in opening and a floor that supports 162 lb plus water.

Is this tub ADA compliant?

Kohler lists it as ADA compliant, thanks to the low step-over height. Check local code requirements for your project.

Is the Avec a good value at $1,136.62?

That price at Amazon as of November 6, 2026 is at the low end of its recent range, so it is a solid buy if the size fits your bathroom.

Can it be used in a three-wall alcove?
