The Ktaxon 198 Piece Tool Set is a general-purpose hand tool kit in a blow-molded carrying case, built around chrome-vanadium steel tools with a high-polish chrome finish. It covers the basics: screwdrivers, a hammer, a ratcheting socket wrench, an adjustable wrench and assorted sockets and bits. The case measures 17.5" x 13.5" x 3.5" and weighs about 6 kg, so it stores flat in a closet or trunk. It is aimed at household and light auto repairs rather than daily professional use.

With a 4.8 out of 5 average from 56 ratings, buyers are broadly satisfied. Most praise the range of pieces for the price and the tidy case. Complaints tend to focus on tool quality under harder use.
