Our take on the Ktaxon U-Shaped Chenille 4-Seat Sleeper Sectional with Double Chaise

The Ktaxon U-shaped chenille sectional seats four with a double chaise on both ends, so two people can stretch out at once. It is a big footprint piece: 94.5 inches of seat width, 24.4-inch seat depth and a 1000 lb weight limit. The frame and cushions are light for the size at 54.68 lb assembled, and it ships flat for home assembly. It is a budget-tier import sofa, so expect spot-clean chenille and gold metal legs rather than a hardwood frame.

Pros

  • Deep 24.4-inch seats suit tall sitters
  • 1000 lb load rating is generous for the class
  • Chenille cover feels soft and hides texture well
  • Gold metal legs and round arms give a modern look
Cons
  • 54.68 lb assembled weight suggests a light frame and thin foam
  • 15.7-inch back height is low for head support
  • Spot clean only; chenille cushions are not removable-wash
  • Assembly required, and U-shape sections can be fiddly to align
  • Only 8 ratings at 3.6 out of 5 is a thin track record

Questions and answers

Is the Ktaxon U-shaped sectional worth it?
If you need a large U-shape with two chaises on a tight budget, it is one of the cheaper ways to get that layout. Expect light foam and a basic frame, so it suits a spare room or a first apartment more than daily heavy use.
How big is it, and will it fit my room?
Seat width is 94.5 inches, seat depth 24.4 inches and seat height 17.7 inches. Measure the full U footprint plus clearance for the round arms before ordering, since a U-shape needs open floor on three sides.
Does it come assembled?
No. Assembly is required, and the boxed weight is listed at 54.68 lb assembled. Plan for two people to move the sections and line up the connectors.
Can I wash the chenille covers?
No. The care instruction is spot clean only, and the cushions are not listed as removable. Blot spills quickly and use a mild upholstery cleaner on a hidden area first.
How does it compare with a standard L-shaped sectional?
A U-shape with a double chaise seats four with two lounging spots, but it takes more floor space and is harder to fit in narrow rooms. An L-shape is easier to place and usually cheaper at the same quality level.
When is the price lowest?
Large furniture like this tends to drop during major sales events and at the end of a season. Check the price history on this page before buying rather than assuming the current price is the floor.
What do buyers say about the Ktaxon U-Shaped Chenille 4-Seat Sleeper Sectional with Double Chaise?
