Questions and answers

Is the Trail Model Day pack big enough for a full day hike?
Yes for most day hikes. At 25 liters it holds layers, lunch, water and a small first-aid kit, but it gets tight if you carry bulky winter gear or camera equipment.
Does it fit a 15-inch laptop?
Yes. The padded sleeve is rated for laptops up to 15 inches, which makes it usable for commuting as well as hiking.
Can I use a hydration bladder with it?
Yes. The pack is hydration system compatible and has a reservoir sleeve, so a standard bladder and hose route works.
How does it compare with L.L.Bean's larger hiking packs?
It is the light day-hike option at 25 liters and 2.1 lb. Larger L.L.Bean packs add capacity and load support but weigh more and cost more.
What colors does it come in?
Dark Pine, Black, Glacier Blue and Orange Red.
When is the best time to buy it?
