Questions and answers

Is the Maddox worth it over a cheaper recliner?
If you want both a rocker and a recliner, the Maddox saves buying two chairs. Its tall back and leather options put it above basic fabric recliners. At $995.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits near the top of its range.
Is it real leather?
The sable and dove grey options are leather, while the brown and gray options are leather match. Leather match means real leather on the seating surfaces and matching synthetic material on the sides and back.
How much space does it need behind it?
A manual recliner needs several inches of clearance behind the back to fully recline. Leave roughly 10 to 12 inches from the wall and check the store's dimensions for your room.
Does it come in power?
The Maddox rocking recliner is a manual lever model. La-Z-Boy sells separate power recliners if you want push-button recline.
