Our take on the Lakeside Laundry Bag with Padded Handles Freestanding Tall Hamper
The Lakeside Laundry Bag is a tall fabric hamper with a metal frame that lets it stand upright on its own. Padded handles make it easy to carry to the washer or down to a laundry room. The white fabric body holds a full load and collapses flat when not in use. It is a simple, low-cost option for bedrooms, bathrooms and dorms.

Questions and answers
- Does it stand up on its own when empty?
- Yes. The metal frame holds the bag upright even when it is empty, which is the main point of the freestanding design.
- How much laundry does it hold?
- It is a tall hamper sized for roughly a full load of laundry. Overloading it makes the fabric sag and the frame work harder.
- Can it be folded for storage?
- Yes. The frame collapses so the bag can be folded flat when you are not using it or when you move.
- Is it machine washable?
- The fabric body can be spot cleaned or hand washed. Check the care label before putting it in a machine, and keep the metal frame out of the wash.
- Does it have a lid?
- No. It is an open-top bag, so contents are visible and odors are not sealed in.
- Is it good for a dorm or small apartment?
- Yes. It is tall but narrow, stands on its own and folds flat, which suits tight spaces and trips to a shared laundry room.
- Where can I buy the Lakeside Laundry Bag with Padded Handles Freestanding Tall Hamper?
- 2 stores we checked sell it, including The Lakeside Collection, LTD Commodities.
