Our take on the Lamtto 11" Portable CarPlay Screen with Gemini AI and Google Play

The Lamtto 11" Portable CarPlay Screen is a dash-mounted 11-inch display that adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to older cars, and it runs Google Play apps plus Gemini AI voice help on its own. It supports a rear camera and GPS, and its 5W speaker is weak, so plan on routing audio through your car stereo. It is rated 5 out of 5 from 8 ratings, a small sample. No current price was provided, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.

Pros
  • Large 11-inch screen is easy to read at a glance
  • Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto for iPhone and Android
  • Runs Google Play apps on the device itself
  • Gemini AI voice assistant built in
  • Supports rear camera and GPS
Cons
  • 5W max output is quiet; audio is better through the car stereo
  • Needs a 12V power connection and dash or windshield mounting
  • Google Play apps on a car screen can distract if overused
  • Only 8 ratings, so the 5-star score is thin evidence

Questions and answers

Is the Lamtto 11-inch screen worth it?
It makes sense if your car lacks a modern screen and you want CarPlay, Android Auto and Android apps on a big display without replacing the head unit. If your car already has a good factory screen, the gain is small.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. It supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and it runs Google Play apps on the device itself.
How is the sound?
The built-in speaker is rated 5W max, which is quiet for a car. Route audio to your stereo over Bluetooth or an aux cable for better sound.
Can I add a backup camera?
Yes, it supports a rear facing camera, which you buy separately and wire to the screen.
Does it need a data plan or phone connection?
It connects to your phone over Bluetooth for CarPlay and Android Auto. Apps that need the internet use your phone's data, and built-in Google Play apps need a connection too.
When is it cheapest?
Portable car screens usually drop around Black Friday, Prime Day and back-to-school sales. Check the price history before buying.
What do buyers say about the Lamtto 11" Portable CarPlay Screen with Gemini AI and Google Play?
Rated 5 out of 5 from 8 ratings.
