Is this rug worth it?

For the price of a large synthetic rug, yes, especially if you need something stain-resistant for a patio or family room. It is not a plush, long-term heirloom piece, but it does the job at 8' x 10'.

Can it really stay outside?

It is rated for indoor and outdoor use and the synthetic fiber resists moisture and fading. Put it on a covered porch or deck rather than in open rain, and let it dry fully if it gets wet.

Does it need a rug pad?

Indoors, yes. The pile is thin, so a pad adds cushioning and keeps the rug from sliding on hard floors. Outdoors, a pad helps drainage and prevents slipping on smooth decking.

Vacuum or sweep regularly, and blot spills with mild soap and water. For outdoor use, hose it down and let it air dry flat.

Will the creases from shipping go away?

Usually within a week or two. Roll it pile-side out or lay it flat with weight on the corners, and mild warmth speeds it up.

Is ivory a risky color outdoors?

It shows dirt more than darker tones, but the stain-resistant surface wipes clean. If the rug sits in a high-traffic outdoor spot, expect to clean it more often.
