Is this lens autofocus?

No. It is manual focus only and has no electronic contacts, so you focus by hand and set aperture on the lens.

What mount does it fit?

This CF version is for Canon RF mirrorless bodies. It does not fit EF, Sony E, Nikon Z or other mounts without an adapter, and adapters are limited for RF.

How wide is it really?

At 4.5mm it gives about a 135-degree diagonal fisheye view. Zooming to 10mm reduces the effect for a less extreme frame.

Does it work on a full-frame Canon?

It is designed for Canon's APS-C RF bodies. On full frame the image circle will not cover the sensor, so expect heavy vignetting.

Is $399 a good price?

It is the only new price we see among three stores as of November 7, 2026, so there is little to compare against. Check used listings if you want to spend less.

Expect the lens, front and rear caps, and paperwork. It is a manual lens, so no hood or case is guaranteed.

Our take on the Laowa 4.5-10mm F2.8 CF Fisheye Lens

The Laowa 4.5-10mm F2.8 CF is a manual-focus fisheye zoom for Canon RF mirrorless cameras. It covers an extreme 135-degree diagonal view at 4.5mm and narrows toward a more conventional fisheye look at 10mm, with a fast F2.8 aperture for low light and close-up distortion shots. Its best new price is $399 at Adorama as of November 7, 2026, the only new price among the three stores listing it.
