Is this sofa big enough for two people to sit comfortably?

Yes. At 65 inches long it is a true two-seater, with room for two adults side by side. Three adults will feel cramped.

How do I clean velvet upholstery?

Vacuum with a soft brush attachment and blot spills right away with a clean cloth. Avoid rubbing, and check a hidden area before using any liquid cleaner.

Does it come assembled?

Most Latitude Run sofas ship with the frame and cushions packed separately and need the legs and back attached. Assembly is usually just a few bolts.

Will it fit through a standard apartment door?

The 65-inch length is the limiting dimension. Measure your door, hallway and stair turns before ordering, since a sofa this long may need to go in on its side.

Is velvet a good choice for households with pets?

Velvet is soft but attracts pet hair and can snag on claws. A tightly woven velvet holds up better than a loose pile, but a flat-weave fabric is easier to keep clean.

When is the best time to buy it?

Watch for seasonal furniture sales and holiday weekends, when upholstered seating is often discounted. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.

Our take on the Latitude Run 65-Inch Minimalist Velvet Sofa

The Latitude Run 65-Inch Minimalist Velvet Sofa is a compact two-seat sofa with a solid wood frame and a solid-color velvet cover. At 65 inches long it fits small living rooms, apartments and home offices where a full-size couch won't go. The minimalist silhouette keeps it low-key, and velvet gives it a softer look than flat-weave fabric. It is a fashion-first piece rather than a heavy-duty family couch.
