Questions and answers

Does the Lechuza Cottage planter include a hanger or bracket?
No. The planter is sold as the pot only, so you need to supply your own chain, hook or railing bracket. Check the weight of the filled pot against your hardware's rating.
Is it self-watering like other Lechuza planters?
No. This is a standard hanging pot without Lechuza's sub-irrigation insert. You water from the top and should check drainage and moisture more often, especially outdoors.
Can it stay outside in winter?
The recycled plastic is rated for outdoor use, but freezing soil expands and can crack pots. In hard-freeze climates, empty it or move it to a sheltered spot.
What size plant fits in it?
The 9.5-inch liner and 1.4 US dry gallon capacity suit compact annuals, herbs and trailing plants. Large or deep-rooted plants will outgrow it quickly.
Is $44.95 a good price?
That is the best new price across the two stores listing it as of November 5, 2026. Compare against the other store's price before buying, since hanging planters of this size often sell for less.
Where is the Lechuza Cottage Balcony Hanging Planter cheapest?
At Amazon, for $44.95, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Lechuza Cottage Balcony Hanging Planter?
4 stores we checked sell it, including interismo.com, Amazon, Lechuza US, Plant Addicts.
