Our take on the Mudeela 12-Inch Hanging Planter Baskets with Coco Coir Liner, Set of 2

The Mudeela 12-Inch Hanging Planter Baskets are a set of two black wire baskets with coconut coir liners, sized for flowers or herbs indoors and out. The coir liner holds soil and drains, and the wire frame keeps the basket light enough to hang from a hook or bracket. At $15.99 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Pros
  • Two baskets per set, so a pair of hooks gets matched planters
  • Coir liner is included, no separate purchase needed
  • 12-inch diameter fits a full trailing plant or several herbs

  • Works indoors and outdoors
Cons

Questions and answers

Is the coir liner included?
Yes. The set of two baskets ships with coconut coir liners already fitted, so you only add soil and plants.
How big is each basket?
Each basket is 12 inches across. That suits a trailing annual, a cluster of herbs, or a compact flowering plant.
Can these hang outdoors?
Yes. The wire frame and coir liner are made for outdoor use, though the coir will weather and eventually need replacing.
Do I need to line the basket with anything else?
No. The coir holds soil on its own. Some gardeners add a coconut liner sheet or moss to slow drying, but it is not required.
Is $15.99 a good price for the set?
At $15.99 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, you pay about $8 per basket with the liner included, which is in line with similar coir-lined wire sets.
What is in the box?
Two 12-inch black wire hanging baskets with two coconut coir liners. Hooks and mounting hardware are not included.
