Our take on the Legends Hotel Washed Linen Cotton Yarn-Dyed Windowpane

A single washed linen-cotton duvet cover from Legends Hotel in a dark olive yarn-dyed windowpane check. The linen blend gives it a soft, lived-in hand that gets better with washing, and it fits mattresses up to 18 inches deep. At $87 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price we track, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Best forShoppers who want a relaxed, washed linen look without full-linen pricesFull/double beds up to 18 inches deepAnyone building a muted olive and earth-tone bedroomBuyers who prefer a yarn-dyed check over a printed pattern
Pros
  • Linen-cotton blend is breathable and softens with each wash
  • Yarn-dyed windowpane check won't fade or crack like a print
  • Fits mattresses up to 18 inches deep
  • Dark olive hides light wear and lint well
  • Single-piece pricing keeps the entry cost low
Cons
  • Sold as one piece, so shams and inserts are extra
  • Linen blends wrinkle and need ironing for a crisp look
  • Only one new price tracked, so no discount history to judge
  • Dark olive limits pairing with bright bedding

Questions and answers

Is this a duvet cover or a full bedding set?
It is one piece, a duvet cover. You need to buy a duvet insert and shams separately.
Will it fit a deep mattress?
Yes. It is listed for mattresses up to 18 inches deep, which covers most pillow-top and hybrid beds.
Is it worth $87?
For a yarn-dyed linen-cotton cover, $87 is a reasonable mid-range price. Home Depot is the only new price we track as of November 3, 2026, so compare against linen-cotton covers from other brands before deciding.
How does linen-cotton compare to pure linen?
The cotton adds durability and cuts cost and wrinkling, while the linen keeps it breathable. It feels less crisp than pure linen but holds up better to frequent washing.
How should I wash it?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low or line dry. Skip fabric softener, which coats linen fibers and reduces breathability.
When is it cheapest?
We have no price history for this cover yet. Watch for bedding sales around major holidays, when linen blends are typically marked down.
Where is the Legends Hotel Washed Linen Cotton Yarn-Dyed Windowpane cheapest?
At Home Depot, for $87.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Legends Hotel Washed Linen Cotton Yarn-Dyed Windowpane?
Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 22 ratings.
