Our take on the Legends Hotel Down Alternative White Full Polyester Mattress Topper

A 4-inch full-size mattress topper from Legends Hotel, filled with polyester down alternative and finished in white. The 4-inch loft is thicker than most toppers in this price band, which suits sleepers trying to soften a firm mattress. At $44.10 at eBay as of November 6, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the two stores that carry it.

Pros
  • 4-inch loft adds real cushioning over a hard mattress
  • Down-alternative fill is a good fit for allergy sufferers
  • Full size covers a standard double bed
  • Low entry price for the thickness
Cons
  • Polyester fill can trap heat for hot sleepers
  • Loft compresses over time with body weight
  • No corner straps or skirt to keep it from sliding
  • Spot clean or gentle wash only, which is awkward for a 4-inch topper

Questions and answers

Is this topper good for a firm mattress?
Yes. The 4-inch down-alternative fill is the main reason buyers pick it: it adds a soft layer over a hard mattress. Expect the loft to compress somewhat over time.
Will it fit a full-size bed?
This listing is the Full size, which matches a standard double bed. Check your mattress dimensions before ordering, since a full and a queen are easy to confuse.
Is it good for people with allergies?
The fill is polyester down alternative, not real down, so it avoids the usual feather and dust-mite concerns of down. Wash it gently and dry thoroughly to keep it fresh.
Does it stay in place?
There are no corner straps or skirt, so it can slide on smooth sheets. A fitted sheet over the top helps hold it down.
Is $44.10 a good price?
It is the lowest new price among the two stores that carry it, at eBay as of November 6, 2026. That is low for a 4-inch topper, so it is a reasonable buy at that price.
