- Is the Legion Tower 5 Gen 10 worth it?
- If you want a prebuilt that games well at 1440p without tinkering, yes. The 7800X3D is a top gaming CPU and the RTX 5070 covers ray tracing and DLSS. You pay a prebuilt premium over building it yourself.
- How does it compare with the previous Legion Tower 5?
- This generation moves to the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and RTX 5070 with DDR5 memory and a PCIe 4.0 SSD. That is a clear step up in gaming performance over older DDR4-based configurations.
- Can I upgrade the RAM and storage later?
- Yes. The 30L tower has room for more drives and memory upgrades. Note that some units ship with memory running at 5200MHz and no BIOS option to raise it.
- Does it include a monitor or keyboard?
- No. The box contains the tower and its power cable; you supply the monitor, keyboard and mouse.
- Is it good for streaming and video editing?
- Yes. The 8-core, 16-thread 7800X3D and RTX 5070's encoder handle streaming and editing well. Heavy multi-core rendering is where a higher-core CPU would pull ahead.
- When is it cheapest?
- It was $2,299.00 at Best Buy as of November 5, 2026, with three stores listing it new. Gaming desktops typically drop during Black Friday and back-to-school sales.
