Questions and answers

Is the Legion Tower 5 with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D worth it?

Yes, if you want a fast gaming CPU without building yourself. The 7800X3D is excellent for games, and 32GB of DDR5 plus a 1TB NVMe SSD is a solid base. Check which NVIDIA GPU is included, since that drives most of the value at $2,299.

Which graphics card comes in this configuration?

The specs list an NVIDIA GPU with three DisplayPort 2.1 and one HDMI 2.1 output but do not name the model. Confirm the exact card with the seller before buying, because it determines gaming performance.

Can I upgrade the GPU later?

Likely yes. The 850W power supply and 30L case give room for a larger card, and the side panel opens without tools. Check the card's length and the PSU's connectors before buying a replacement.

How does it compare with the previous Legion Tower 5?

The 7800X3D is a big step up for gaming over older Ryzen 5000-era chips, and DDR5-5600 memory replaces DDR4. The 30L case and air-cooling layout carry over largely unchanged.

Does it come with a keyboard and mouse?

The listed specs do not mention a keyboard or mouse, so assume the box contains only the tower and power cable. Budget for peripherals if you have none.

When is the best time to buy it?

The best new price was $2,299 at Best Buy as of November 5, 2026, with two stores listing it new. Watch for holiday and back-to-school sales, when Legion desktops usually see their deepest discounts.
