Our take on the Lenovo Legion Tower 5i Desktop Computer with Microsoft 365 Personal Kit

The Legion Tower 5i is Lenovo's mainstream gaming desktop, here in a 20-core Intel configuration with an NVIDIA graphics card, 32 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD. That is a lot of CPU and memory for a prebuilt, aimed at gamers who also stream, edit or run heavy multitasking. The best new price is $2,345.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, with only two stores listing it new, so comparison shopping is limited. The bundle adds a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription kit.

Pros
  • 20-core Intel CPU with 5.2 GHz boost handles gaming plus heavy multitasking
  • 32 GB RAM is generous for a prebuilt and leaves room for browser tabs and editing apps
  • 2 TB SSD gives fast boot times and space for a large game library
  • NVIDIA graphics card keeps driver support and game compatibility simple
  • Standard tower case makes future GPU and storage upgrades easier than a small form factor
Cons
  • $2,345.99 at eBay is a high price for a prebuilt; a self-built equivalent often costs less
  • Only two stores list it new, so there is little price competition
  • No monitor, keyboard or mouse included
  • Legion desktops have a reputation for loud fans under load
  • The Microsoft 365 kit adds cost if you already have a subscription

Questions and answers

Is the Legion Tower 5i worth it at $2,345.99?
It is a capable 20-core, 32 GB, 2 TB machine, but $2,345.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026 is near the top of what this class of prebuilt should cost. Compare against other Legion Tower 5i listings and DIY builds before buying.
Can I upgrade the graphics card later?
Yes. The standard tower layout leaves room for a larger GPU, though you should check the wattage of the installed power supply before choosing a card.
Does it come with a monitor or keyboard?
No. It is the tower only, plus the Microsoft 365 Personal kit. Budget for a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Is 32 GB of RAM overkill for gaming?
For gaming alone, 16 GB is usually enough. The 32 GB here pays off for streaming, video editing and heavy multitasking.
How does it compare with building your own PC?
A self-built PC with similar parts often costs less, but you handle assembly, warranty claims and setup. The Legion's advantage is that it arrives ready to run.
When is the best time to buy?
Legion desktops usually see the deepest discounts around Black Friday and back-to-school sales. With only two stores listing it new, watch both for price drops.
