Our take on the LG 14" gram Laptop Copilot+ PC

The LG gram 14 is an ultralight 14-inch Windows laptop built around an AMD octa-core processor with integrated Radeon graphics, 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Its headline trait is weight: 2.5 lb with a 14-inch 1920 x 1200 matte display, backlit keyboard and a full port set including USB-A, USB-C, HDMI and a headphone jack. LG rates battery life at up to 32 hours, which in practice means all-day and then some on light workloads. It carries the Copilot+ PC label, so it runs Windows with the newer on-device AI features.

Questions and answers

Is the LG gram 14 worth it?
If portability and battery life matter more than raw performance, yes. At 2.5 lb with a 1 TB SSD and a full port set, it is one of the easiest 14-inch laptops to carry daily. Buyers who need discrete graphics or a high-resolution screen should look elsewhere.
How does it compare with the Intel version of the gram 14?
This model uses an AMD octa-core chip with Radeon integrated graphics, while Intel versions use Core Ultra chips. The AMD setup tends to be efficient and fine for office work; Intel models have historically offered stronger single-core speed. Both share the same light chassis and long battery claims.
Does the battery really last 32 hours?
32 hours is LG's rating under light, controlled use. Expect roughly a full workday to a day and a half of mixed browsing, documents and video. Heavy multitasking or high brightness cuts that significantly.
Is the 14-inch screen big enough?
The 14-inch 1920 x 1200 panel suits documents, spreadsheets and web work, and the 16:10 shape shows more vertical content. It is not ideal for side-by-side heavy editing or detailed photo work.
What comes in the box?
The laptop, its power adapter and cable, and standard paperwork. No mouse or sleeve is included, so budget for those separately.
When is it cheapest?
LG gram models see the deepest discounts during back-to-school season and Black Friday, and older generations drop further once a new model ships. Track the price history here and buy when it falls below its recent average.
