Is the LG 2.1 sound bar worth it at $55?

At $55 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a cheap way to beat TV speakers. Expect clearer dialogue and some bass, not home-theater punch.

Does it come with a separate subwoofer?

No. The subwoofer is built into the bar, which is why it is compact and easy to place. Bass is lighter than a system with a standalone sub.

Can I connect it to my TV over Bluetooth?

Yes, Bluetooth is the listed connection. Check that your TV can output audio over Bluetooth, since no HDMI or optical input is listed.

How does it work with Alexa?
