Is the LG QNED70A worth it at $349.99?

Yes for a 50-inch 4K set with quantum-dot color. At $349.99 at Sam's Club as of November 7, 2026, it is a low price for this size and panel type.

Is QNED better than LG's regular LED TVs?

Yes. QNED adds quantum dots and NanoCell color for wider color and more brightness than LG's entry UHD sets.

Does it support 120Hz gaming?

No. The panel is 60Hz, so it suits casual gaming but not high frame-rate console play.

What is included in the box?

The TV, stand, power cable and LG Magic Remote are included. HDMI cables are not.

Is 50 inches big enough for a living room?

It suits bedrooms and small living rooms. For seating more than about 8 feet away, a 55- or 65-inch set is a better fit.

When is this TV cheapest?

Prices on 50-inch 4K sets drop around Black Friday and the Super Bowl. Check the price history before buying.

Our take on the LG 50 Class QNED70A 4K Smart TV

The LG QNED70A is a 50-inch 4K smart TV from LG's 2025 lineup, using a QNED backlight with quantum dots and NanoCell color for a brighter, more colorful picture than LG's entry-level sets. It runs webOS with LG's Magic Remote and app lineup, and it supports 4K HDR playback and gaming features at 60Hz. At $349.99 at Sam's Club as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a 50-inch QNED set usually costs, so the price is a strong one for this size and panel type.
