Is this cabinet worth it compared with stock cabinets?

It is a certified framed Shaker cabinet with a 5-year warranty, which is more assurance than many big-box stock lines offer. Whether it is worth it depends on the price you find it at against comparable 30x18 wall cabinets.

What does KCMA certification mean?

KCMA certification means the cabinet passed standardized tests for construction, finish and load capacity set by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association. It is a useful quality marker when comparing brands.

Will it fit over a sink or window?

At 18 inches tall it is shorter than standard 30-inch uppers, so it suits spaces under a window or above a sink where height is tight. Check your clearance and the 12-inch depth against your countertop and faucet.

Is the finish safe for kitchens and kids?

The cabinet is CARB2 compliant, which limits formaldehyde emissions from the panel materials. The painted finish is standard for kitchen use but wipe spills promptly to keep it looking new.

What is covered by the warranty?

Liberty offers a 5-year limited warranty. Keep your receipt and check the terms for what defects and finish issues are covered.

Our take on the Liberty Shaker Rift Double Door Wall Cabinet 30" x 18" x 12"

The Liberty Shaker Rift is a framed, painted Shaker-style wall cabinet measuring 30 inches wide, 18 inches high and 12 inches deep, with two doors. It carries KCMA certification, CARB2 compliance and an NKBA listing, and Liberty backs it with a 5-year limited warranty. The 18-inch height makes it a fit for over-sink or short wall runs where standard 30-inch uppers won't clear. No current price was provided, so compare it against other 30x18 Shaker wall cabinets before buying.
