Our take on the Lifestyle Solutions Harper Reversible Sleeper Sectional Sofa with Chaise

The Harper is a reversible sleeper sectional from Lifestyle Solutions: the chaise can be mounted on either side, and the seat pulls out into a flat bed in two steps. It has hidden storage inside the chaise and no power operation, so it works anywhere. It is built for daily sleeping, not just the occasional guest. I have no current price data for it, so check the price history before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the Harper good for sleeping every night?
Lifestyle Solutions rates it as a daily sleeper, so it is meant for regular use, not just guests. Expect a firmer, thinner sleep surface than a standard mattress. A mattress topper helps.
How does the sleeper open?
It uses a nest mechanism: lift the seat, walk the frame out, and lay it flat. That is two steps and no tools.
Can the chaise go on either side?
Yes. The sectional is reversible, so the chaise can be assembled on the left or the right. Plan for two people to flip it.
What can I store in the chaise?
The chaise has a built-in storage compartment, useful for bedding, pillows or off-season items. Check the opening size before counting on it for bulky things.
When is the best time to buy it?
Sectionals usually drop during holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Check the price history on this page and buy when the price sits near its low.
