Questions and answers

Is the Atlas Max 6E worth it over a Wi-Fi 6 mesh?
Yes if you have Wi-Fi 6E phones or laptops and a multi-gig internet plan, since the 6 GHz band and 5 Gbps WAN port are the main upgrades. If most of your devices are Wi-Fi 5 or older, a cheaper Wi-Fi 6 mesh covers the same rooms.
How many nodes do I need?
Each node covers about 95 feet indoors, so a two-node kit suits a typical house and three nodes suit a large or multi-floor home. Expect the 6 GHz band to reach less far than 2.4 or 5 GHz.
Does it work with older Wi-Fi devices?
Yes. It is backward compatible, so Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 4 devices connect on the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. They just do not get the 6 GHz speeds.
What is in the box?
A kit includes the mesh nodes, power adapters, an Ethernet cable and quick-start documentation. Setup runs through the Linksys app over Bluetooth.
When is it cheapest?
Mesh systems usually drop during Black Friday and back-to-school sales. The best new price was $334.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, so compare that against holiday pricing.
