Our take on the Lippert 425667 Aluminum Hydraulic Actuator for LCI Slide-Out Systems

The Lippert 425667 is a replacement hydraulic actuator for LCI hydraulic slide-out systems on fifth wheels and travel trailers. It is an aluminum-bodied, 28 lb cylinder assembly with a manual override so you can retract the slide if the pump or power fails. It is a direct-fit replacement part, not an upgrade, so you buy it when the original actuator leaks or fails. The best new price is $396.95 at Lippert as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no discount to wait for.

Pros
  • Direct replacement for Lippert hydraulic slide systems
  • Aluminum housing resists corrosion better than steel
  • Manual override lets you retract the slide without pump power
  • OEM part, so fit and hose connections match the original
Cons
  • At $396.95 it is a repair cost, not an upgrade
  • Only one store lists it new, so no price competition
  • 28 lbs and 35-7/16 inches overall length make shipping and handling awkward
  • Ships in 5 to 7 business days, which is slow for a repair part

Questions and answers

Is the Lippert 425667 worth it?
If your LCI hydraulic slide actuator has failed, this is the correct OEM replacement and the simplest fix. At $396.95 from Lippert as of November 4, 2026, it costs more than generic hydraulic cylinders, but fit and hose routing match the original.
Will it fit my slide-out?
It fits Lippert/LCI hydraulic slide-out systems that use the 425667 actuator. Check the part number on your existing actuator or your owner's manual before ordering, since other LCI actuators look similar but differ in stroke and mounting.
What does the manual override do?
It lets you move the slide in or out by hand if the hydraulic pump or power fails. You release the override and use a tool to retract the slide so you can travel.
What is in the box?
You get the aluminum hydraulic actuator itself. Hoses, fittings and mounting hardware are generally not included, so reuse or order them separately.
When is the price lowest?
Only Lippert lists it new at $396.95 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no cheaper store to compare against. Watch for Lippert site promotions or seasonal RV parts sales.
Where is the Lippert 425667 Aluminum Hydraulic Actuator for LCI Slide-Out Systems cheapest?
At Lippert, for $396.95, as of our latest check.
